Each recipient carries their own status as the run happens: queued, sent, delivered, retrying or failed, with the reason behind every permanent failure and a count of who was skipped before the send. The failed stage is one click from becoming the next audience.
Per-recipient status ✦ Reasons logged ✦ Failed stage reusable
The most guest-obsessed brands trust Lodgestory to power 50M+ conversations a year
A temporary refusal from the platform, usually a marketing limit, puts the message into Retrying. Lodgestory waits, with back-off between attempts, and tries again up to the limit you set between one and ten. Only when every attempt is used, or the failure is permanent, does the recipient become Failed, with the reason written on the record.

Attempt limit for this campaign: 5
No phone number on WhatsApp, no address on email, or a chat on another channel: the audience card counts them and says why, before a single message goes out.
The list refreshes while any campaign runs and the detail page updates every few seconds, with sent, delivered and failed progress for the whole run.
Failed and Not delivered are stages like any other. Pick one as the audience of a new campaign, or save it as a segment to review first.
Learn moreAfter you create a campaign, Lodgestory matches every recipient to their chat in the background. The campaign page then shows where the audience came from, how many were matched, and how many were skipped with the reason for each group. If nobody in the audience can be reached on the channel, the campaign is marked failed with the reason instead of sending to no one.
Send your first campaign and watch each recipient's status as it happens.
Sent means the platform accepted the message for delivery. Queued means it is waiting for its first attempt. Retrying means the platform temporarily refused it, usually a marketing limit, and Lodgestory will try again on its own; it is not stuck, and sending faster will not fix it. Failed means every retry was used, or the number is invalid or opted out, and the reason is logged on the recipient.
Email campaigns report sent, delivered and failed per recipient with automatic retries for transient failures, and rows without a valid address are skipped before the send. There is no separate bounce classification or suppression list today; the failed stage of a campaign is the list to review, and it can be reused as the audience of a resend.
Between one and ten attempts, configured per campaign, with back-off between attempts. Permanent failures, such as an invalid number or an opt-out, stop immediately and never retry.
Recipients who cannot be messaged on the channel: no phone number on WhatsApp, no email address on email, or a chat that lives on another channel. The campaign's audience card shows how many were skipped and why, and if nobody in the audience can be reached the campaign is marked failed with the reason instead of sending.
