What is Click-to-Call?

Click-to-call is a feature that allows customers to initiate a phone call with a business by clicking a button on a website, app, or message. The call can be routed through VoIP, SIP, or traditional telephony.

Click-to-call reduces friction in the customer journey by eliminating the need to manually dial a number. Modern implementations use WebRTC for browser-based calls or SIP for traditional telephony routing. Analytics track call volume, duration, and conversion rates.
